Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure

A fun beat'em up with great sprites that capture the look of the series quite well. The gameplay is simple and easy to get into with the standard attack and jump buttons along with the kamehameha that serves as the charge attack and gets more powerful as the game progresses.

The game's story covers till the end of Demon king Piccolo saga so you only get to play as kid Goku throughout the game. It is great to see a game that focuses on the original Dragon ball since most games in the series are centered around DBZ.

Highly recommended if you're a fan of the series.

The best thing about a game, when you complete it completely, you can play pvp, which literally means a crazy and awesome game

Cute lame beat em up

The switch between 2D-Fighter and Beat 'em up was a refreshing idea, but the latter remains a tedious genre. The constant mashing just gets boring fast.

It's fun to play through the old Dragonball storyline and the 2D-Fighter bits are pretty well done, more than the Beat em up parts. Boss fights for the Beat 'em up bits are a mixed bag but kept it more interesting.

Never explored playing the storymode with different characters, might get on that eventually.

Great game, very short and can be a bit repetitive. Fun to play through the OG Dragonball timeline and events.
