Doom

Doom at its heart is a video game. It's just meant to be fun. No life questioning story, no difficult and intricate game mechanics to learn and master, just pure fun and killing. This is a great re-imagining of the classic Doom series, with the main focus on the combat and movement, which is what it needed to focus on to surprisingly stand out. Sometimes in a world where everything is trying to justify its price and value by making unnecessary game changing decisions to be different from everything else, Doom knew that keeping it simple was its best move to be different. All it is is fast paced shooting, and that's what it needed to be. Now this is the switch version, so it's not the best version out there, but that doesn't mean this still isn't a great version. It runs more than fine, just not exceptionally well like it would on a Ps5 or Series X. If you have those consoles yes I would recommend playing it on those, but if you're only option is the switch then by no means is this a bad way to go. Play this no matter your hardware

One of the better dooms in my opinion without being a cluster truck.

Masterful, fast-paced, creative and with really in-depth story logs and notes

Same as doom but with better music and weapons

Solid but not as good as some other versions
