It's the game I played on Switch, now at 60fps and with Xbox controller icons. You'd think I'm kidding until you see the "controller required" text. I really enjoyed this game on Switch. It's weird and charming as hell, similar to the original, but unlike its predecessor, I never felt the looming presence of Twin Peaks (which, don't get me wrong, I love) overshadowing the really creative story told in Le Carre. York shines brighter than ever in this game, and Zach gets to stand out on his own too, which would have been my favorite part of this game if Cassandra Morris didn't absolutely steal the show as Patti. Just like in the previous game, the soundtrack is great, and this one also has a few "iconic" tracks (though nowhere near to the degree of the first one).

In terms of the actual gameplay, it's kinda barebones. There are a few interesting concepts and minigames, and a really funny skateboarding mechanic, but the open world feels lifeless and the sidequests are pretty dull at best. Despite that, a fairly large cast of characters manage to shine because of the heavier emphasis on storytelling and the captivating as hell mystery this game sets up. Bear in mind, this is no 9/10 game, more like a 7, but nonetheless I love it. If you enjoyed the first one, I would recommend it. You **DO NEED TO PLAY/WATCH THE FIRST ONE BEFORE THIS**.

Since the PC port is literally the bare minimum, if you want to fancy it up a bit (and you really only can do so much), there's a Steam Guide featuring "Sui's Hack" which lets you do all sorts of nice tinkering to the game and all sorts of extra visual goodies the modder added in at little performance cost. Also if you're somehow worried about performance, don't be. The minimum GTX 750 is an insane overexaggeration. I run this game on integrated Radeon 7800 Graphics, which is worse than a GTX 660, so... you're fine

not as good as the first game. there were parts where the game dragged. the mystery and characters felt underwhelming. the otherworld was also bland and incredibly repetitive. the more diverse range of bosses and enemies from the first game was nice though.

Very enjoyable. Not as good as the original. Once you get into the swing of the story, it really hooks you. bugs are present but do not hinder the game at all
