Summary

Discover classic Battlefield gameplay with epic multiplayer and an adventure-filled campaign. Experience the dawn of all-out war, only in Battlefield 1. Fight your way through epic battles going from tight urban combat in a besieged French city to big open spaces in the Italian Alps or frantic combats in the Arabic sand dunes. Experience large-scale battles as infantry or piloting vehicles on land, air and sea, from the tanks and bikes on the ground, to bi-planes and gigantic battleships.

War wasn’t just fought, it was felt.Battlefield 1 captured the chaos, the fear, the beauty. Every shot had weight, every explosion told a story. The campaign was haunting, the multiplayer a symphony of destruction. DICE nailed it. War had never felt so alive.

Play it.

It's not bad standard shooter it's good how the campaign is split into little war story.
So you can do it in bit's which is good if you haven't got much time and just want a quick ting.

The most epic and brutal Battlefield ever released, the game beautifully portrays the visceral and terrifying First World War.

The presentation, sound and visual effects are top notch. The gameplay is solid with an excellent gunplay feeling, the vehicle handling is also very good, better than in its predecessors. The campaign is divided into short chapters titled "War Stories", and while they may seem like a tutorial for multiplayer, they are exciting stories with good gameplay variety.

It's in multiplayer that we find all the greatness of Battlefield, in intense, large-scale battles with frenetic objectives that make the overall experience truly chaotic but also memorable.

The campaign or campaigns were all pretty good. The Runner and the Lawrence of Arabia ones being the best. But if I ever have to play "friends in high places" ever again I will do unspeakable things

There isnt much I can say about this without 100% spoiling it. So I'll say what I can.

The graphics beat some games from now even tho this game is on the road to a decade old, and the gameplay is alright for a ww1 fps.

For Battlefield games I don't hear this mention in as one with a great Campaign. Its rarely talked about from what I see. But this had great, fun stories (outside of "friends in high places") and I'd play some of these again easily.

The last 'true Battlefield'

Arguably the best Battlefield game made that delivered. It has one of the best soundtracks, beautiful map designs, fantastic audio, and the greatest atmosphere and destruction, I've witnessed in any video game.

Battlefield 1 was the last 'true' Battlefield, sure BFV is levels ahead of BF2042, and is far closer to a BF game. However, that game took the 'fall of Battlefield' to another level. In comparison, this was the last true Battlefield.

Going back in 2024, makes you appreciate what DICE used to create for their players. BF1 has a class system, a scoreboard, five man squads, team balancing, great progression, and best of all, premium over live service.

I have had much fun playing. After the mess of the last two titles. It is refreshing to play a Battlefield that works. If you're looking to play a Battlefield in 2024, play this.
