Summary

Gameplay is standard FPS action, with limited ammo and plenty of hazards to detour around or find the switch to deactivate. The player switches between the four main characters at each level change, each with a slightly different set of abilities (Call has a motion tracker, Christie has his twin pistols from the film). Levels are based around keeping the Auriga running, and making their way through the ship to escape.

Much like the alien trilogy it frankly plays the same however this one is miles better in my opinion. Everything about it changes while still keeping the scary factor as it still delivers good jump scares which have become more effective as the graphics have improved thus the aliens do look more 3D and less pixilated than the trilogy.

Some of the areas have really cool designs. The fast track sound track also blends well with the action. But yea not much to say it is an improvement. Although not something I'd replay I had fun playing this game.
