Trumpet is a dark visual novel that deals with themes such a death.
The story of Trumpet takes on a modern perspective on what it means to be alive. Second year student Shinima Junjou is burdened by a series of continuing physical illnesses and dementia which resulted in his current social isolation. Seeing himself as nothing more than a waste of valuable resources, JJ is a strong believer in Death as the only salvation. However, he unexpectedly finds himself under a state of hypocrisy as he desperately tries to find ways in becoming a source of light to those who have been imprisoned by despair.
