Is very lineal and there is not too much to do except for main quest and boss figths,a little short aswell, but for the playstation 2 it was worth principally for fans.

Considered the first "good" Transformers game, and it is certainly a good game, did not reach it's true potential from a lot of jank and technical issues holding it back.

This had a recipe to be a favourite of mine. Levels are big open areas that have stuff everywhere to explore and find. 3rd person shooter combat with 1st person switching. Finding upgrades and building your own unique build. Felt kind of like a "lite" version of Armored Core.

Having said that, shooting does not feel great. The controls are sloppy and heavy. Performance is so-so. Lots of glitches. Plenty of annoying and frustraring moments. Enemies not reacting to your shots. Lots of problems here. I really wanted to love this game.

You can feel the low budget here. Although I will say this is a really technically impressive PS2 game.
