Summary

First-person WRPG and third mainline entry in the Elder Scrolls franchise in which the player arrives in the island of Vvardenfell, an exotic land plagued by disease-carrying storms and ruled by a godly Tribunal, in the Morrowind province of Tamriel, and takes part in the prophecy foretelling the second coming of Nerevar, who will supposedly save Morrowind from malicious clans both within and outside Vvardenfell.

I really wished I could give this more than 10, this game is the best entertainment product in my life, and I am biased and will not mention any negative of the game, but stick with me since i will talk briefly of why i love The Elder Scrolls III : Morrowind.

The game starts off by being a prisoner and your freedom was declared by the emperor of Tamriel and you being hired in the blades, you get your orders and the first thing you encounter is the beauty of TES games, the freedom. my first memory of Syda Neen is more vivid than my first day in school, it was charming, weird, the folks were humorous and alive! one of the best aspects of the game was its world, it was handcrafted with love and creativity.

One of the things that made Morrowind my best game was the story progression, you are a nameless person and almost ascend to divinity, the quests don't treat you as the savior of the world and the guilds treat you like a dumbass (N'Wah) guy, you feel like you are one with world and it was very very immersive.

Also, one of the best aspects that made Morrowind this good is the fuc*ing soundtrack, man, Jermey Soule was a genius.

If you don't like Morrowind we can't be friends, sorry man your soul is ugly.

Holds up surprisingly well, the mechanics are a little clunky but they have a lot of depth so it still manages to be fun, especially with how challenging it is.

The worldbuilding and lore are great it feels alien and wondrous, vvarndenfell is so well realised and the main story compliments it well, which on the surface appears to be another generic chosen one plot but is much more.

The graphics are dated but the artsyle, use of fog and music make it a beautiful world to explore.

The biggest flaw is the midgame slog to get all the tribes and houses to recognise you as neravirine but ultimately this a great game despite its age.
