Summary

First-person WRPG and third mainline entry in the Elder Scrolls franchise in which the player arrives in the island of Vvardenfell, an exotic land plagued by disease-carrying storms and ruled by a godly Tribunal, in the Morrowind province of Tamriel, and takes part in the prophecy foretelling the second coming of Nerevar, who will supposedly save Morrowind from malicious clans both within and outside Vvardenfell.

My First Elder Scroll Games. I love the gameplay, the graphic is so good. The best Game at that era

I really wished I could give this more than 10, this game is the best entertainment product in my life, and I am biased and will not mention any negative of the game, but stick with me since i will talk briefly of why i love The Elder Scrolls III : Morrowind.

The game starts off by being a prisoner and your freedom was declared by the emperor of Tamriel and you being hired in the blades, you get your orders and the first thing you encounter is the beauty of TES games, the freedom. my first memory of Syda Neen is more vivid than my first day in school, it was charming, weird, the folks were humorous and alive! one of the best aspects of the game was its world, it was handcrafted with love and creativity.

One of the things that made Morrowind my best game was the story progression, you are a nameless person and almost ascend to divinity, the quests don't treat you as the savior of the world and the guilds treat you like a dumbass (N'Wah) guy, you feel like you are one with world and it was very very immersive.

Also, one of the best aspects that made Morrowind this good is the fuc*ing soundtrack, man, Jermey Soule was a genius.

If you don't like Morrowind we can't be friends, sorry man your soul is ugly.

The game cons beset the pros

Holds up suprisingly well and completely hooked me,the gameplay whilst clunky stays engaging due to its depth and difficulty. The alien, mysterious atmosphere of the game is effective despite the simple graphics and the story is the best of the elder scrolls with a unique take on a chosen one prophecy and a strong villain. My main issue is the second half slog in getting the tribes and houses to recognise you as nerravarine and other minor outdated elements.

A genre-defining masterpiece. The music, cast, gameplay and atmosphere are timeless jewels that shall be preserved.

It’s a good game, has a good story and ambience, but is pretty dated, tried playing it a feels times, but just couldn’t muster the patience to do it, even with console commands as “tgm”.
