The console version of Tekken 2 adds more content to the original arcade game such as new characters and additional game modes.
Two years have passed since Kazuya Mishima won the first King of Iron Fist Tournament and threw his defeated father Heihachi Mishima off of a cliff. Kazuya being now the owner of the Mishima Zaibatsu chooses to hold a second tournament to mark another step on his path to domination, even as rumors that he has made a deal with the devil begin to circulate.

Characters now feels more responsive, but the game can be easily be broken by spamming the most powerful moves and by grabbing repeatedly.
The plot is the direct sequel of the first one and it's... Rather bizzarre, but it's a kind of bizzarre that made Tekken starts to stand out as a different type of series from Virtua Fighter and Street Fighter.
I honestly had a good time playing it.
