Jump Force

This game has always been unfairly criticised. Yes I can see the reason why as they are fairly reasonable reasons to have problems with it however calling it a shit game is beyond silly and a huge reach. There hasn't been a game since J stars Victory plus which gave us such a big roster of such popular characters and this game did exactly that. Bring us so many different iconic character to face off against each other. THAT TO ME IS FUN. To me the gameplay is exaggerated and campy which never feels repetitive to me at least but I can see why it does for other people. Some of the skills bring so much nostalgia as they are complete throwbacks from the show that made it special in the first place. Like goku's spirit bomb.

The characters themselves yes are a bit unbalanced. Some are weak, some are strong, some are busted and some are cheaters (cough aizen cough) 😩 the voice acting is good and authentic to the original source material however one thing I'd change is some characters I'd take out and add some more that I think would be great picks however that's a conversation for another day. Also there is a lot of screaming I wish they would have toned that down. The arenas themselves are great. My main characters are Boa Hancock, Aizen, Kaiba and Prometheus. Another cool thing is that you can actually block the Ultimate Attacks which sometimes isn't a thing in most Fighting games. Also I love the attention to detail as the more damage you take the more your clothing gets ruined or even the characters themselves like Sanji being unable to land a single hit if the opponent is a girl. It could use a bit more female characters. Just a thought

Unfortunately I got into this game way too late after it shut down. I managed to get access to the first 9dlcs however the last 5 I couldn't find anywhere :( that means I didn't get a chance to play Yoruichi which is my favourite female anime character for all time. But it's whatever :( . Lastly another thing I wish would be different about this game are the camera angles as if you do multiplayer you the opponent won't have the best view of where the character is if they happen to be far away into the arena. I would have personally added a split screen to fix that issue. Otherwise to me it's a fun brilliant game and quite misunderstood people just had way too many expectations and I'd really love a sequel to this Someday.

The idea of throwing in all these characters in one game is crazy.
Too bad it's just not fun.

i think it’s a decent game but there’s A LOT of improvements that should be put in the game
- the story mode is the worst thing i ever seen and probably the worst story mode i ever seen in any game. the cutscenes of it are just dumb, the characters don’t even feel like themselves on it, honestly it’s a disaster.
- on the other hand i think the gameplay is pretty cool, yes it needs improvement but it still good
- the game been out for 3 years already but i still feel like it has potential, the developers should not give up on this one
- the roster has a lot of potential still too, there are A LOT OF. shonen jump characters that could be added right there
- there aren’t a lot of activities to do in the game just fighting and fighting till no more which it starts to become repetitive

Underrated game, people hate too much, the potential was there and i had fun playing this back in the quarentine, Nice character roster, and combat, but they just took the online out of nowhere, sad
