man this entry is so underrated man. subspace was so fucking hard back in the day, still is. wish sonic wasn't shoves all the way to the end of the story, but I get it, he was a very late addition to the game so they kinda had to in order to not drastically change the story they already made. The random tripping isn't as bad as people make it out to be, I didn't even notice it back in the day, though I was a filthy casual - literally like 5 years of age, plus my brothers played with their friends and gave me an unpugged wiimote to keep me satisfied, so it makes sense. Yeah i was the youngest brother lmao. But the times I did actually get to play were a blast. so we're the times I didn't. I didn't really understand what I was doing so it didn't matter if my thing wasn't connected. Anyways, super duper fun, huge improvement on melee except for the competitive shit ofc, although Project M has your back on that one. Yeah, great stuff, loads of content. A blast.

My favourite smash game, but maybe it's just because I never had melee.
The subspace emissary was such a great mode and Nintendo were stupid to get rid of it.

My first experience in smash. A very fun addictive game. I can see why it is so highly thought of.
