As mediocre and bare bones of a mario party game as there is and you can get. There are some pretty interesting minigames involving the joycons that can be really fun, and river survival is a cool little addition to add some new flavour into the mix. Overall however there is just a very limited amount of variety here to always keeps things interesting with the boards. The very short single player experience here is also completely forgettable, there is nothing of substance at all. This is definitely a playable game with some fun to be had, but it is by no means an all time classic, or even a very good mario party for that matter

Not my top Mario Party game but I thoroughly enjoyed this. It has its own charm. I especially loved challenge road and the partner party feature. 🙂

Not my favorite Mario Party, but still fun to play with a group of others. Got all of the Super Star Gems and beaten the game with my wife.
I liked how they had different game modes, but wish they had a better variety of mini games, especially on the rafting game with other players.
