Still Wakes the Deep

Great game all around

Beautiful narrative and good horror elements my real problem is the gameplay. It's just that the game doesn't know if it's a walking sim horror or action horror so the gameplay just feels off most of the time

And sometimes i just don't understand what the characters are saying bc of the accents

But for what it it's. I think still wakes the deep is awesome and one of the best looking games in 2024

Solid narrative, great voice acting and incredible setting. Where Still Wakes the Deep falters slightly is in its gameplay. It does try to keep things fresh from level to level via platforming, survival and narrative but I feel this game would've benefitted greatly from picking a side and going all in. Either going the full walking sim direction or embracing it's horror elements further. However, I do strongly recommend this, and please, give us more games set in Scotland!

Amazing horror game with a awesome story, great performances and terrific monster design. My only problem with it is the lenght, really wished it was a bit longer and the gameplay is very limited run and hide mechanics but overall a fun experience

My favorite aspect of this game is how it draws horror from the mundane.

There is a story to follow, and by the end, you start to care somewhat about the characters. But for the most part it didn't seem to be the game's focus.

The graphics are quite realistic, and combined with the creaking sounds and leaks from the oil rig, they add a lot of depth to the atmosphere.

It’s not a scary game in the traditional sense, but the slow buildup of uneasiness and tension keeps you on edge throughout the whole experience.

Needed subtitle to understand the scottish accents 10/10

Nice short game great story and a an okay gameplay
