Summary

A third-person shooter in which three American soldiers led by Capt. Walker are sent to Dubai in order to recover whoever remains of an infantry unit, the 33rd Battalion, until they decide to take action against the militants situated in the city. As they progress, however, the logistical and ethical complexity of their objective deepens, and their perception of themselves, and their enemy, is put into question.

When most games are open world and filled with ridiculous side missions and most of the player's time is wasted wandering around the map, it's really a blessing to play a polished linear game with well designed levels and a great story and character development.
The story is extremely engaging and full of surprising elements. The gameplay isn't great, but it's pretty good. It could have been more efficient in terms of movement, but it was great in terms of shooting. The variety of weapons was lacking and it would have been better if it had weapon customization. Overall, I really enjoyed it and if you haven't played it yet, do yourself a favor and play it.

An often overlooked game as it came out when Call of Duty was the definitive war shooter, but do yourself a favor and check this game out if you haven't! It is truly one of my favorite stories in a video game. Nolan North as the main character is haunting and thought provoking. The gun play is a bit dated by today's standards, but everything surrounding it is a treat.

I have a headache right now I can't write a review at the moment. I'll write one tomorrow I can't leave this game without a fucking review

So, here's the thing:

This is not just a game. It's a piece of art. It's a masterpiece. It's a masterpiece in its storytelling and the exploration of the human condition under the weight of war. It may initially present itself as a standard military shooter, like any other games in its genre, it quickly reveals itself to be something far more profound and devastating.

The themes are heavy and unrelenting, the corruption of good intentions, the thin line between heroism and villainy, the personal cost of violence, and the illusion of choice. This game doesn’t offer easy answers, instead, it confronts players with the uncomfortable reality that sometimes there are no right choices, only consequences. You can see this everytime in your walkthrough, you think you are doing the right choice.

This is not a game that exists to entertain in the traditional sense. It’s a game that exists to challenge, unsettle, and leave a lasting impression. Few games have dared to deconstruct their own genre with such precision and emotional weight. For me, this masterpiece stands as a magnificent piece of art, a brutal, beautiful, and necessary experience that every man should experience.
