I can’t proclaim to be the biggest South Park fan around. I haven’t watched it in well over a decade, and as much as I love some of the classic episodes, and have fond childhood memories of watching them and the movie at far too young of an age, I have always had high admiration for the absurdity, raunchiness and ridiculousness the show provides. South Park: The Fractured But Whole provides you with exactly that experience - the highs, the laughs, and the quality of one of the best episodes of the widely adored show. The story fails to miss a beat, and even without completing the Stick of Truth, I was able to dive into this experience without missing a beat. The combat is advanced enough to be engaging throughout most every outlandish battle I took part in, your hero equipped with 3 abilities as well as your ultimate. The diversity provided with making this experience uniquely your own is fantastic, between your choice in skills, costumes, character traits and more. I actually felt like my character had an existence and fit in to the vastly varied history and lore of the core identity of the franchise. The biggest hinderance fell in the unskippable ultimate and summon cutscenes in combat, which did become repetitive and drawn out after seeing each one for the first time, as well as having no efficient way to quickly travel around town, other than slowly slugging your character to the preset fast travel locations. Some may see this as a way to indulge and feel like you are living and seeing the town, but it wasn’t interesting enough to warrant doing so. I didn’t indulge too far into the side content, and feel that the game followed an engaging and interesting plot progression, whilst offering new and exciting additions to the gameplay at regular intervals. Full props to the ending having me physically laughing out loud for a good half minute, the abrupt stupidity of it was absolutely spectacular. South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a surprisingly well rounded RPG experience, with a hilarious, ridiculous story that makes you feel like you’re being rewarded with your own 2 part special.

A silly but really addictive turn based RPG based off of and made by the same creators of the show. If you like the show, you'll love this game.

Really fun rpg. It's a South Park game so you can expect the comedy to be top notch and it is. Not the most complex and detailed combat system and world but that's not the point of the game. Pick it up for a great time and a bunch of laughs
