This game is a masterpiece of horror games and is ahead of its time, engaging story, unique design of enemies and their story, excellent characterization, good graphics, acceptable gameplay, interesting puzzles.

The Enhanced Edition on PC is the one reviewed. It's the best possible way to play this and it's free, it runs on a potato these days and it's one of the best games of all time, so I would download it. Can't hurt!

I love Silent Hill 2, it's like the cherry on top of that perfectly crafted chocolate sundae. Not too sweet it's overwhelming but it's balanced just right so that everything in it leaves that little speck of an impression.

It's a masterpiece of psychological horror where the themes of the game are still being explored and questioned twenty years later. Despite a lot of Misinfo out there due to constant YouTube videos I think it's interesting how a gaming as a medium can be mature enough to allow these types of discussions to take place.

Whilst I'm not going to be talking about Born From A Wish (I've not finished it yet) the main narrative is what's important and it's very hard to talk about without spoilers, I know it's been spoiled like Darth Vader is Luke's dad, but honestly it's better to go in blind.

All you need to know is James Sunderland gets a letter from his dead wife asking him to come back to Silent Hill and that kicks off the narrative.

It's short, can be beaten in six hours and everything is just *chefs kiss* excellent in its design, from puzzles (you might need a walkthrough for the orange juice one) to the creatures and the characters

Combat again is a bit clunky but that's a characteristic of the series overall.

It's worth playing, especially the free Enhanced Edition.

Possibly the best written horror game ever. Possibly, the best written game ever. Mindblowing imagery. Beautiful direction. Gameplay aged. But who cares
