Great game! The levels and the art are amazing.
Definitely one of my top games.

Have you ever experienced something and told yourself "what took me so long" to play such a masterpiece?well psychonauts 2 is exactly that for me



Although psychonauts 2 takes place only few days after the first game fans have longed for this game for sixteen years,
With this one I will always trust double fine to give me a experience with the soul and love of the creators poured into the work of art they will create and I cannot wait to play Grim Fandango.
After playing the first game I DID NOT think anything will top that experience in any aspect but somehow they managed to keep it all and make it even better,from the cartoonish experience that feels like a animated movie like Coraline in the best Way possible,giving you a humor as good as the first game and more relevant in terms if you haven't played the first game on release like Me,A story so deep and so good that makes the first games story look like child's play,and my favorite thing about this game,characters and their World that you get to experience And feel so Mutual and similar to how they feel and what they do and sensing a deep feeling of sympathy for them when it comes to witnessing their past.
A person may act differently at their Job,with their family,maybe put on their best behavior for their loved ones,or act as though they're emotion-less,but which one of those are they?none of them?is the real personality somewhere deep within?or are they all of these?this was a beautiful part and question presented by the game and answered in just a few minutes that I really enjoyed and another one of these beautiful moments which are many that I'm highlighting some of my favorites is someone who has problems getting along with others and the only man he loved died years ago and now seems like a grumpy alcoholic oldman but deep within he wants to change but one part of himself doesn't want to go through change Which projects itself as a butterfly looking like his face
But the best one in my opinion is the psiking Part of the game which is when you're putting a new brain into a body and psiking is having sensory issues
Like a TV that is on but the cable is in the wrong port and you need to fix this step by step by Bringing back together band of senses to give the audience(body) what they want and along the way when you're getting each sense to join back the band psiking will get that sense back and it gets overwhelming for him and he will have a anxiety attack that you need to fight and the best Way is to use the time bubble to slow the anxiety attack down and this is just top level enemy design which there's another one that I want to talk about in the same field is a enemy type named "Bad mood" which if you want to defeat a bad mood you have to see what is causing the bad mood in their POV and for me that is so brilliant
Such a beautiful Piece of art that I am truly honored that I got to experience And enjoy and will always love

Incredibly well crafted experience. The story was captivating, with twists and turns. I was able to guess a few plot points such as who the mole was and who fractured Ford's mind, but the details around them weren't what I thought and was very surprising.
The characters were all fun and had more depth than what I noticed in the previous Psychonauts. The interns didn't have that much screen time, though, and we could have had a few more missions/side quests to round them up.
The gameplay was perfect in my eyes. Having just played the previous game, where the controls were very dated, I felt like the platforming in this game is leagues better. Much tighter jumping, no almost-game-breaking levitation ball. Gliding is limited, everything feels finely tuned.
Combat was engaging and was a nice change of pace, never felt like I had to do too much fighting. The only flaw I felt was the circle wheel which was brought back from the last game. Making me pause the action to get a power was more effort that it was worth, so I opted to just use the powers I had equipped, unless one was strictly needed for the enemy. A better way to use the powers should have been figured out, in my opinion.
Post-game you get a way to find all collectables you'd missed, which was very helpful. Could have been a bit easier to access, but I didn't have to use it much.
Overall this is a contender for my favourite game I played this year!
