Summary

This enhanced HD version of Onimusha: Warlords now supports 16:9 wide screen resolution as well as the old 4:3 ratio. Improved controls now allow players to move and fight with analog-stick precision. The Japanese voices have been re-recorded for this remaster, and the brand new soundtrack promises to be even more spectacular than the original.

I'm a huge fan of the 2nd game so I picked this up a couple years ago not realizing Capcom released a remaster. My first time playing I got about a quarter of the way through and shelved it for probably another year then deciding to go back and restart completely and beat it and very much enjoyed the experience. This is now the second time I've beaten the game and I got to say it holds up very well though. It's a pretty short game. Every minute is packed with enjoyment and is considered a must play in my opinion. Can't wait for the remaster of 2.

Very good hack & slash in the vein of Resident Evil. This looks and plays like a samurai version of the first RE games. Map is kinda confusing, but the game has a lot of original ideas, the CS is simplistic but fun, the weapons are a pleasure to use and the boss fights offer a decent challenge. Graphics hold up pretty well so unless you're a kid who wants to get horny over iper-realistic pixels, you'll like this. Would love if the entire saga was on PS Store.

Timed puzzles make this game very unenjoyable. It's also instant death if you don't solve in time so get used to losing progress..

I really enjoyed this game I never played it on the PS2 but I really wish this game sold better so we could have got the 2nd game remade for modern hardware.
