Summary

For the first time in any LEGO videogame, characters from iconic entertainment franchises join forces and battle in worlds outside of their own. In addition to the game, the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack will include the LEGO Toy Pad, which allows players to transport special LEGO minifigures and other LEGO objects into the game

A toys to life game that simply made sense. As far as gameplay and story wise it's another lego experience that's shorter in length. The novelty of this game however was being able to experience compact and dense single levels for various franchises that would never otherwise have gotten the lego spin. From the Simpsons to doctor who and portal, the level packs although fairly expensive, offer such a novel experience that really could not be replicated with anything else
