Summary

A thrilling story-driven action RPG, with a rich open world, set in 15th century Medieval Europe. Experience the ultimate medieval adventure - through the eyes of young Henry - as you embark on a journey of epic proportions.

This review might be controversial but at this point... it's getting tired. First and foremost I'll start with saying... what's with grown men crying about something that has nothing to do with them? You can bring up religion by saying hey 2 dudes shouldn't be involved romantically that's respectable, youre entitled to that view. You know what else is against religion? Violence... and here we are, talking about a game that displays violence and you have front row tickets. However again it has nothing to do with you as it is....optional..... you can still choose to be straight in this.......... game...............

No need to make a scene. It's literally OPTIONAL. You can choose to avoid it Nobody is pushing you to pick your character to want a dong. My god where is the maturity??? It's a game where you have the option to be with women or men....moving on. You do know not every game has to be about you??? Every audience has their own taste. You don't like something? Move the fuck on??? It's literally as simple as that. You avoid wasting your time and breath over something that you can't change and the planet continues to spin on its axes. We all win.

I had no interest in this game I never played the first one and this I'm merely playing it with my friend on his console. The game is good it just isn't for me per say. This game comes with a lot of narrative. I did watch gameplay of the first one and I can easily point out this is quite the upgrade, especially Story wise. The story is massive and dare I say time consuming, however the quality is top tier. There is a lot to do. The world is huge, and rich full of different characters. Side quests feel equally as important as a regular mission, like for example you have to find your missing dog. That does feel important even tho it is merely a side quest. This game is very thought out. You can be attached to the main 2 lads, as you see them interact and grow during the game, it makes you feel as if you're there with them in the game. It feels real.

The gameplay is very much like the first one just a bit revamped. Since you are starting from the beginning this game is smart enough to make you struggle as of you're free building yourself from scratch. The attention to detail is impressive as Henry will feel stiff with a sword but improve his sword fighting once you upgrade his skills. Again it just feels real. The combat itself is also very polished. Another attention to detail are the civilians themselves. They can treat you differently just by looking at the state of condition you present yourself such as if you're dirty they'll treat you like youre homeless. If you're bloody they will be afraid of you. If you get punished they will doubt you and not trust you. The guards also like to play around with you which makes you feel insecure and monitored. There is more to say with little space to say it. Incredible game for rpg lovers unfortunately again not something ill ever see myself revisiting. My friend ate it up tho.

A TRUE masterpiece, great graphic with amazing soundtracks, character design and backstory are remarkable.
**After rdr 2 it was the only game that i enjoyed the environment, the designers have to be praised.
**Story is astonishing and even side stories were not repetive and they were at same level as main quests, only few activities were similar to each other but they were distinguished from each other with fantastic dialogues.
**Combat system is polished and got better compared to first one.
**There are only some bugs which i encountered only few in my whole playthrough and they didnt affect the progress.
**This game is one of the game which you have to play before you die, i enjoyed every single seconds of it.
**I wish best luck for producers and appreciate them for making such a game.
**This game was made with love and from the heart, and it's easy to see that.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – The Return of the Peasant Sim We Didn’t Know We Needed (Again)
Reviewed by: The Jaded Blade, underground reviewer, bard of bullshit, and certified grog-snob

You ever swing a sword and miss the bandit's head by three miles, then trip over a fence and bleed out next to a cabbage patch? Welcome back to Bohemia, loser.

The Short of It (for ADHD knights)

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II isn’t just a sequel. It’s a lovingly crafted, historically accurate, painfully immersive, sometimes clunky love letter to realism in gaming. It asks the bold question:

> “What if you weren’t the Chosen One, but just some barely literate stable boy with a hangover?”

And against all odds… it works. Mostly.

Story & Worldbuilding – “Your dad’s dead, and your sword sucks. Go fetch.”

Henry of Skalitz returns — the human embodiment of “I swear I’m useful.” The game picks up right where we left off, knee-deep in 15th-century mud and moral ambiguity. The story is slower than a tax ledger but richer than a monk’s wine cellar.

What sets it apart is verisimilitude — this isn’t Skyrim with swords glowing like rave sticks. It’s a slow-burn drama soaked in betrayal, honor, politics, and yes, more peasant life than you probably asked for.

If you're expecting dragons, go back to Tamriel. If you're into political intrigue, class struggle, and medieval bureaucracy... welcome home, nerd.

Gameplay – “Realism: The Game”

Confused Guards Who Saw You Trespass But Gave Up Anyway

Look, Kingdom Come 2 doesn't hold your hand. It doesn’t even know what a "tutorial" is.
You want to learn how to read? Go to a monk. Want to fight? Good luck — swordplay feels like learning interpretive dance with a halberd.

The combat system still demands actual thought: angles, timing, stamina — you don’t button mash here unless you want to become compost. It’s refined since the first game but still has the jank. You’ll stab a dude, and he’ll moonwalk away like it’s Bohemian Thriller.

Hunting, alchemy, lockpicking… it’s all back and as painfully detailed as ever. You can smell the rabbit stew. And yes, if you forget to bathe, people will treat you like a leprous skunk.

Immersion? Off the charts. But it can sometimes feel like work. This is a game for people who think survival mode in Minecraft is for babies.

Graphics – “So pretty you’ll forget how ugly war is.”

Bohemia looks gorgeous. From sun-drenched valleys to blood-soaked battlefields, this game is a visual ode to historical Europe. The lighting? Chef’s kiss. The armor? Historically accurate down to the rivets. The faces? Well… let’s just say some of them look like they drank from the wrong Holy Grail.

But it’s not just about beauty — it’s about detail. Chickens react to you. Mud sticks to your boots. You can stare at a field and believe you’re actually there. Just don’t stay still too long, or a guard will accuse you of vagrancy.

Sound – “Ye Olde Dolby Surround”

The soundtrack slaps in a… medieval way. It doesn’t go for epic choirs or Hollywood crescendos — it goes for period-authentic ambiance, with lutes, chants, and more violin than a BBC documentary. It fits, like a worn-in pair of chainmail pants.

Voice acting? Mostly solid. A few side NPCs sound like they’re reading from a 15th-century Google Translate, but the main cast carries it with charisma and grit.

What Flops?

Bugs: You will clip through your horse. Embrace it. It’s tradition.

Combat still feels janky in close quarters, especially in group fights.

Tutorials are minimal. If you're not into struggling for 10 hours before “getting it,” go play something with a quest marker and shut up.

UI could still use an exorcism. Inventory management feels like sorting scrolls during a siege.

Final Verdict – “An Unpolished Gem Worth Bleeding For”

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is not for everyone. It's slow, brutal, and unapologetically grounded. But for those who love immersion, narrative depth

Let me know if you want a follow-up breakdown of mechanics, best builds, historical accuracy roasts, or Henry’s personal hygiene.

A great game, but nothing I'm quite fancy with. Again a phenomonal game but I don't fully grasp why its being praised so heavily. I like it all don't get me wrong, but it just doesnt tickle my fancy too much. If you like medival style, longer games like this, I think you'd enjoy it, but Im slowly realising that this isnt the type of game for me sadly. This game will be in GOTY race, but I wouldnt be voting for it.

This game looks impressive but I bravely say that it’s not meant to be played without cheats. IT JUST ISN’T. I played it for too long on a console but still didn’t manage to picklock even a single chest because of how hard everything is in this game. It made me frustrated that I eventually had to give up on this game even though I really tried my best not to. I wish the developers had put an option for everything in this game to be easier so that we wouldn’t suffer in the game. It’s also worth mentioning that the main reason this game is too long is because of how hard the mechanisms are, not because it’s got so much to deliver…. DON’T TRY THIS GAME ON A CONSOLE. DEFINITELY TRY IT ON A PC AND DEFINITELY USE CHEATS. Then you’ll be able to ENJOY the game.
