Summary

007: Nightfire is a first-person shooter featuring the character of the British secret agent James Bond and a sequel to Agent Under Fire. The game marked Pierce Brosnan's fourth appearance as James Bond before the release of his fourth and final Bond film Die Another Day. His likeness was featured in the game, but not his voice, which was provided by Maxwell Caulfield. Overall there are many weapons that the player can carry including grenades of various sorts and other types of explosives. In addition, there are numerous amounts of mounted weapons found throughout the game. As with previous James Bond games, the weapons that appear are based on actual weapons, but with the names changed. Some weapons appear in the console version but not the PC version, and vice-versa.

First game I played after getting my PS2 set up for the first time since I was in Primary School. Great 007 game. The first half of this game is so much fun but the latter half spikes in difficulty and gets quickly frustrating. The last mission is aesthetically awesome but the novelty wears off when you get your ass kicked for the 6th time.

The multiplayer surprisingly let's you use AI bots and that is way more fun than it has any right to be. Launching Oddjob's hat across Fort Knox into Jaws' teeth makes me stupidly giddy.

This game earns a 7 but the great multiplayer awards it an 8.

The controls are hard and some other things make it kinda annoying, but the missions are good.

Old school James Bond FPS that was pretty fun. Some parts of it aged poorly, but it reminds me of a time we would go all in with broken gameplay just for the sake of showing impressive stuff and scenery. This was, to me, some kind of Golden age for video games.

This game was nice most of the time, it's very simple and straight to the point. Mission starts, you complete a few objectives, mission ends, you go back to the main menu where you select another misson. I found myself getting lazerbeamed by the npcs a couple times which was annoying. Also there's an underwater mission with no checkpoints at all and since the underwater driving mechanic sucks, you'll find yourself replaying this mission over and over again.

Bloody brilliant local co-op. Looking at it now you'd describe it has having potato graphics, but at the time it was sick, and the range of different weapons was quite a lot better than Agent Under Fire.

It's a good game and the gameplay somehow got some bugs and enemy A.I. was lacking some senses but not a bad experience in 007 games.
