Though not as good as far cry 5, this budget rendition on one of Ubisoft's best games ever definitely does shine. This game has bright and eye catching graphics with a familiar world that I was free to roam. The story was pretty forgettable, but the simplicity allowed me to explore other parts of the game such as the open world.

New dawn is the first far cry game to be a direct sequel and it pans out pretty well the world is certainly a lot mode unique and I like seeing how much has changed and how character have aged since the time skip, the more overgrown world was great with crazier weapons that fit the apoloclyptic environment the villains were alright and some of the reveals were crazy all in all a fun game and a solid entry in the franchise.

Started: Late Dec. 2021 lol

Completed: 3/17/23

I finally got around to finishing this. Was stuck on some random mission like eight percent through the game and just dropped it for like two years.

Anyway, love the gameplay & love more FC5 lore so this was really fun.

My only complaint is that it's not long enough/big enough. I know why it's smaller than 5, though, but still.

Super entertaining (for me), but the main villains are pretty bland. Other than that it's just good fun.
