Excitebike is a motocross racing video game franchise made by Nintendo. It first debuted as a game for the Famicom in Japan in 1984 and as a launch title for the NES in 1985. It is the first game of the Excite series.

This is the kind of game that once you get the hang of it, you can beat it in about 10 minutes 😂. It is difficult to be able to get the best time for each track, but very possible. I enjoyed it very much and definitely was a good childhood game that I never could beat 😂👌

I absolutely LOVED this game and played it nearly every day, on my NES. Such fond childhood memories (yes, I'm old. Lay off. Ha). I wish I had a console that I could play it on now. But, as much as I miss Excitebike, I'm not about to shell out buko money for a Wii. My hope is that it will someday become available on Switch.

One of my tops for the NES gen. I especially loved the ability to create my own tracks. Such a fun game, this was.
