Summary

Enderal: Forgotten Stories (Special Edition) is a total conversion mod for Skyrim SE, which is now running on the 64 bit version of the TES V: Skyrim Special Edition. This version benefits heavily from the new rendering engine and features improved lighting effects, smoother image quality and the best possible performance & stability. Enderal is a game modification that is set in its own world with its own landscape, lore and story. It offers an immersive open world, all for the player to explore, overhauled skill systems and gameplay mechanics and a dark, psychological storyline with believable characters. Enderal is free and can be played by anyone owning a legal copy of TES V: Skyrim Special Edition. It is developed non-commercially by SureAI, the team behind the renowned Oblivion mod Nehrim: At Fate´s Edge (and various other projects).

This moded version of skyrim needs a raise! Great story but slow at the begining, 100 percent worth playing, i didnt encounter bugs only few times NPCs didnt move which a quickload fixed that, this game deserved better attention.

I was convinced to give this game 6 because the story was boring for me...but the last two missions changed my mind because I loved the plot twists, the fact it didn't shy from anything and just ugh! I love Calia! :D

Well...first of all the main thing you need to know about this is it's Mass Effect story (with alittle twist at the end) set in Skyrim like world. - That's it...that sums up the game. and if you dont beleive me there is a few examples: Pyreans? = Protheans, Beacon? = Catalyst, Cycle? well...Cycle (they didn't really get creative with this one :D)...and much more

Anyway I'll start with the positives: I enjoyed the side quests a lot. Unlike Skyrim or mentioned Mass Effect they each have a story. It's not a simple fetch quest but each of them leaves some impression on you. Very often at the end you need to decide who of the two sides dies and very often that is really not an easy choice.
The next thing I loved are the romance options. There are only two but both are amazing (and both bi). They're both fleshed out perfectly and they both have some skeletons in their closet and they're both such a sweethearts (Calia is just a tiny bit better... and that's definitely not the lesbian in me talking :D)
Another thing: tons of things to collect...there is over 280 ice claws that will make your inventory bigger, 100 magic symbols, 15 mysterious symbols...and much more. Good luck finding them all.

This sadly brings me to the negative. The game is quite buggy. I couldn't collect some ice claws for some unknown reason, I couldn't finish some of Jesper's personal quests because he bugged on the stairs and never reached his destination (I reloaded and reloaded and reloaded...and shot him with my arrows to move him but nothing happened). But hey its a free mod if you have Skyrim so I can close both eyes and pretend those things never happened.
Another thing as I mentioned before is the main story and that was mostly becasue it was soooooo looooong and boring. The main dude who is supposed to be like your mentor or whatever is the biggest piece of s*it Ive ever seen. I wanted to murder him every second of the game because he was just so entitled (to top it off he was the worst companion, always pushing me around when I was trying to sneak and running in front of me so I wasted my arrows at him). UGH! Even now I'm angry I didn't get to kill him -_-
Aaaaaanyway as I said the last two missions were so amazing that I decided to ignore even this and give the game 9 because all in all I really enjoyed those 80+ hours spend with the game. It definitelly helped with my Skyrim itch ^^

Also a warning: it might look like Skyrim but it's not Skyrim. The leveling is diferent (you get exp from killing enemies, finding new locations or collectibles and and you need to buy books to level up your atributes, but be careful as you have limitesd amount of points you can use) and at the begining it's super hard to kill even the basic enemies.
