Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening

The gameplay and art style in this is so different from Origins that when you first play it it's quite jarring. But honestly it doesn't take long for you to fall in love with this found family made entirely of disaster bisexuals. There are valid criticisms of this game, it's obvious it was made with a low budget/on a short deadline because all of the quests repeat exactly the same maps/dungeons and there's no real complexity to the environment. Yet where this game really shines is the story. Absolutely gorgeous, complex, emotional. One of those games that leaves you feeling empty once you've completed it, therefore despite its flaws this game will always have a special place in my heart. ❤️

Awesome plot, rivaling the one in the main game. And while it was still crashing, I think they improved the difficulty of the monsters. Also, I liked companions here, they were fun.
