It's is a really fun rpg from the world setting and the ideas it introduces like the ability to see and interact with ghosts and to be able to transform into a dragon and to be able to creat and summon your own monster minion. The quests and world are very interesting and unique with good dialog and puzzles but the game feels unfinished and had a rushed development. Turning into a dragon for the first time is exciting until you realize all ground enemies disappear and you can't use your dragon form against them. At the end of the game before last couple of fights there is a very steep difficulty spike. the dlc to get the ending is such a chore to get through.

Mediocre at best, lore is interesting for the first 10 mins then the more you talk to npcs the less you care about it. Combat is a button smash fest with intervals of drinking potions. Is not fun, interesting or anything you should bother with.

It was an enjoyable experience with a fine story. It didn't have a "standing ovation" worthy of a story, but it was still fun. One thing about this game that annoyed me was how it ended with a cliffhanger without any follow up for the story to resolve itself. Damian had escaped and our Dragon Knight was going to go after him... Not anymore looks like. Ah well. I will continue with the Divinity: Original Sin games after I am done with my Dragon Age replay. I am hoping story telling is better in those games.
