Single player Multiplayer Third person ⚔️ Slasher 🏹 Adventure 💥 Action 🐉 Fantasy 👻 Horror
Summary

Dante's Inferno is an epic single player, third-person action adventure game inspired by "Inferno", part one of Dante Alighieri's classic Italian poem, "The Divine Comedy." Featuring nonstop action rendered at 60 frames-per-second, signature and upgradable weapons, attack combos and mana-fueled spells and the choice of punishing or absolving the souls of defeated enemies, it is a classic Medieval tale of the eternal conflict with sin and the resulting horrors of hell, adapted for a new generation and a new medium.

82/100. Difficult at times but not rage inducing. The gameplay was plenty of fun, but I could not get over how awesome each new area was. Felt like a Christian God of War. When nearly the first thing you do in a game is kill death and take his scythe, you know you're in for a wild ride. Also quite a few titties, which was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Getting a "To be Continued" at the end of the game would have been really cool, if they had actually continued it. Will definitely play again.

"You think you're a better man than your father?"

"I think I'm too much the same man as my father."

Dante's Inferno has its own magic and touch, as a great hack 'n' slash game it explores the descending to Inferno with torturing scenarios and fearsome enemies. The game could explore more the building paths (Holy and Evil) designed to it.

One of the several God of War "clones". Lots of fun and if you're into body horror, then this will be right up your alley.

+ Simple - yet awesome - Hack & Slash gameplay
+ Superb Soundtrack
+ Amazing Cutscenes, Gruesome Visuals & Voice Acting
+ Abilities Tree & Character Progression
+ Difficulty progression, but also adaptability to the player's skill

- Combat can become quite repetitive sometimes
- Difficulty Spikes
- "Absolving" mini-game is too silent & slow
- Weird Checkpoints
- Cross attack's aiming inconsistent
- Feels too much of a "God of War" clone in some aspects

Score: 8.4
