Summary

"Call of Duty 3" is a first-person shooter developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, released in 2006. This installment in the acclaimed series focuses on the Normandy breakout, one of the most pivotal moments of World War II, and follows the Allied forces' push to liberate Paris from Nazi occupation. Players experience the conflict from multiple perspectives, including American, British, Canadian, and Polish soldiers, each with unique missions and challenges. The game's narrative is rich with historical detail and emphasizes the diversity of the Allied effort. "Call of Duty 3" is known for its intense, fast-paced combat and enhanced gameplay mechanics, such as improved melee attacks and the introduction of close-quarters battles. It also features expansive multiplayer modes, allowing players to engage in large-scale battles online. With its high-quality graphics, realistic sound design, and compelling storytelling, "Call of Duty 3" provides a deeply immersive World War II experience that captures the heroism and horrors of the battlefield.

A pretty decent entry in the franchise. The second Call of Duty I ever played. I enjoyed all 4 of the campaign stories, I just wished they intertwined a bit more into a big final resolution, but I still played this one more than a few times in my youth.

Okay so, the gunplay was nice and I really enjoyed using most guns quite a bit (except for gewehr 43) but the voice acting isn't great, not terrible either but like, just not great. The level design started off really well but was a bit of a mix in the end. Some sections there were just too many germans shooting and you died way to quickly, the final few missions get kind of unproportionally difficult. Major Ingram returns from united offensive to be a part of the british campaign, which makes sense because they kinda stole the whole british campaign from united offensive. Major Ingram was boring here and the voice actor was different 😭.

They thought they were sneaky stealing one of the best missions from united offensive and basing the whole british campaign on it, but this time its not the dutch resistance, but rather the french.

I won't complain or lower the games score from it because I can't find that anyone experienced it and it might just be my ass-old ps3 but the performance was terrible. Very annoying, especially the missions set in forests or highly vegetated areas.

The game was fun, and it was less repetitive than the second. The tried to do more character based storytelling alike "the big red one" but U would'nt say they did anything great because my god I barely cared during any emotional moments.

I think the first half was really great but it dropped off a bit afterwards, and the performance problems became quite an issue. The difficulty got worse and so did the enjoyment lessen. By the end I just wanted it over with.

This game is better paced and less repetitive than cod 2. And 3 haf better gunplay but the negatives equals them both out i think.

ALSO FUCK THE FUCKING MOTION CONTROL OH MY GOD 😭😭😭😭😭 this game has so much dualshock 3 motion control garbage absolutely unbearable.

United offensive is still my favourite. 3 even copied it and brought Ingram back, but still it could not live up to it.

I've played this entry for countless hours on the Wii and have recently replayed it on Xbox. Overall a decently fun experience but not one that I enjoy as much now. The story itself has a relatively bland ending.

I could see how they improved from the last one, quite cool to see it progress.
