Summary
The first episode of BS Dragon Quest. BS Dragon Quest is a version of Dragon Quest released for the Super Famicom add-on peripheral Satellaview, via broadcast, in Japan. It was divided in chapters, that could be playable only for an hour, and consisted of four one-hour scenarios which players would download on a weekly schedule. Players were tasked with leveling their character, collecting medals and completing scenario-specific conditions with special events designed to occur under specific conditions in real-time. It was compatible with the SoundLink add-on.

Modern rpg’s all owe this game a big thank you. The amount of basic features we expect from rpg’s nowadays were started with this game. This does mean that the game feels painfully generic though as many of its features that were revolutionary for its time now feel plain. The game does manage to hold up though as a decent time killer. The soundtrack is really the feature stealing the show as it holds up even today. The gameplay and story aren’t terrible just painfully generic. The game is old but is worth the play just to see how games have evolved over time. I enjoyed my time with it and will be playing more dragon quest games.

Este juego es conocido como el abuelo de los JRPG, si bien a estas alturas puede ser demasiado simple considero que si eres fan del género debes probarlo.
No me imagino la odisea que fue jugarlo en su tiempo cuando no existían guías, ya que este juego es la base de todo lo que se conoce hoy en la mayoria de los RPG en en general y fue un gran inicio para lo que luego sería esta saga.
