Graphics are significantly improved (as for a remaster), especially characters models. New quest makes you wet of thinking what (if) BG&E2 can be. And still leave you with feeling that first part was just a prologue to 'Jade Payge Forever'.

The beginning was promising. can see and appreciate a way to unveil the story that feels more of the like of modern titles . The world building seems also interesting and bigger than we saw. The gameplay though, feels older than it should be, older than ps2 era. I've read so many saying "yeah but it's an old game". Ps2 isn't THAT old. A reminder that in those years, you could play stuff like jak and dexter, sly cooper,mgs 3, half life 2.
Movements and gameplay are clunky and awkward,, menu, items, mdisk, it all feels more adherent to the limitations of some budget title on ps1, and there's much that plays better on ps1. They also experimented with different elements but the actual combat is weak, stealth section are so easy and limited, driving the overcraft/racing feels bad.
Overall, nicely narrated story, good ost, it has charm but outdated gameplay in these days and I'd say even 20 years ago to me, that makes it a not so good experience to be played today.
