I think Banishers is missing its own Ildentity with how much it inspired elements from different titles across many genres with barely any effort to present them in a good way..
The combat was just unbalanced and Physics were suffering greatly along with how stiff the enemies would look when trying to attack
The story was too vague and doesn't quite much shares a lot of context in a direct way adding to its weak dialogues and character presentation.
If Banishers has done anything good, it would be in its World, which offers a vast element of exploration spread throughout it that made up for its many mistakes.
