Summary

The Signal is an additional Alan Wake episode released via DLC. The DLC was free to all those who bought a new copy of Alan Wake. Although this episode is known to be in "Season One", it is said to be a more stand-alone/special episode.

I don't get the hype for this game. I think the concept is very interesting but the execution is where it fails for me. This was repetitive, short, & very irritating. The final "boss" is about as fun as standing in line at the BMV.

Final verdict: Don't touch it

Solid standalone episode, love the spooky vibes of this one especially. The difficulty spike is noticeable, but when played immediately after the main game it's not a huge deal. Doesn't answer any of the questions from the main game but instead works as a psychoanalysis of our lead, exploring his fears and insecurities in more detail.

Everything is similar to main game also has new collectibles but their has not any usage. The design of dark place and its difference with real word in main game is very nice. The sory is simple and its just some alan tries to escape from dark place.
