Summary

It's a nightmare, but it's true! Research shows that we are the actual aliens on Earth, and the ruthless Xevions are the original inhabitants. Now the Xevions want Earth back -- minus humans! Their invasion forces are fierce -- the land is crawling with deadly Domogram Rovers; the sky is black with Toroid Patrol Fleets and Zoshi Death Squads. Our puny weapons offer no defense. Earth's only hope is our powerful new Solvalou Fighter Plane. Its pilot will have a single mission: Penetrate the enemy ranks and destroy the Xevious Mother Ship. The mission is dangerous. We can't guarantee success. But at this point, it's do or die! One small problem. We still need a pilot. Any volunteers?

Xevious is an exceedingly difficult arcade early Schmup with some cool mechanics. You can shoot, but also drop bombs, allowing you to attack both ariel and ground based targets. The boss fights in this game are extreme on the difficulty side. This is bullet hell territory, with sluggish arcade controls. Even so, there is a lot to like here, and I enjoyed my time with it.

Juego mata marcianos frenéticos, con una gran cantidad de enemigos en pantalla.
⚠️DATO CURIOSO⚠️
*-cuenta con un Easter Eggs que se desbloquea en el primer nivel.
*Primer juego que el fondo no tenia que ver con el espacio.

No soy fan de este estilo de juegos, sin embargo seria poco serio negar su trascendencia. Xevious demostró un salto de calidad en su versión arcade, en gráficos, inteligencia de los enemigos y estrategia. Y en la Nes, se traspasó al igual que en otras plataformas, aquellas virtudes que lo hicieron un juego favorito de la gente, sobre todo en Japón. Con los años y la aparicion de otros clásicos, fue perdiendo terreno en la consola.

Xevious è un gioco molto importante per gli sparatutto in verticale perchè è stato le fondamenta per l'intero genere.

Graficamente è invecchiato malissimo, su questo siamo tutti d'accordo, però è ancora divertente da giocare nonostate i molti anni sulle spalle.
