Also available in a European version known as Pro Evolution Soccer 4, Winning Eleven 8 is developed by the legendary soccer expert Shingo Takatsuka. New free kick and penalty techniques can now be used, while an innovative indirect free kick has been implemented to add further variety to set pieces. This level of realism has also been extended to the ways players run, move both on and off the ball, and how they control the ball. A new dribbling system is also available giving more control as players go one-on-one and try to pass opposing players, while player likenesses are also enhanced to match the noticeable individuality of the world's greatest stars. Both international and club players are instantly recognizable due to almost photo-realistic graphics.
Estou revivendo clássicos que eu joguei e vários outros que eu nem joguei..! Comecei minha jogatina de futebol na vida no “Winning Eleven 2002”, depois deste já pulei direto para o “Pes 6”.
Jogando pela primeira vez o “Pes 4” Devo dizer que estou amando o clima, os times da época, os jogadores da época, que para mim foi a melhor época do esporte!
Estou que nem criança que recebeu o jogo pela primeira vez nos Anos 2000! Que nostalgia!
Porém quanto a jogabilidade… ela como previsível tem falhas que foram corrigidas jogo após jogo, mas nada que acabe com a nostalgia e a diversão..!
Dentro de seus problemas, estes são os que se destacam:
- Principalmente as finalizações, que são bem fracas e pouco variadas, o chute de cobertura é terrível, tem chutes que saem completamente errados sem motivos.
- Os goleiros são bem travados e as vezes decidem não se mexer.
- A dificuldade deixa a desejar, utiliza do famoso “handicap”, que é aquela dificuldade que interfere no seu “gameplay” diretamente, ao invés de apenas se tornar difícil.
Um bom jogo de futebol!
Para mim: Nota 7/10 (ela só perde nota pois tem à comparação com jogos mais atuais)
O primeiro passo para a franquia se tornar o ícone de uma geração no qual se tornou futuramente.

I'm playing on console: Ps2 I'm reliving classics that I played and several others that I haven't even played...!
I started playing football in “Winning Eleven 2002”, after which I jumped straight to “Pes 6”. Playing “Pes 4” for the first time I must say that I am loving the atmosphere, the teams at the time, the players at the time, which for me was the best time in the sport! I'm like a kid who received the game for the first time in the 2000s! How nostalgic!
However, as for the gameplay... it predictably has flaws that were corrected game after game, but nothing that takes away the nostalgia and fun...!
Among its problems, these are the ones that stand out:
- Mainly the submissions, which are very weak and little varied, the cover shot is terrible, there are shots that go completely wrong for no reason.
- The goalkeepers are very tight and sometimes decide not to move.
- The difficulty leaves something to be desired, it uses the famous “handicap”, which is that difficulty that interferes with your “gameplay” directly, instead of just becoming difficult.
A good football game!
For me: Rating 7/10 (it only loses its rating because it is compared to more current games)
The first step towards the franchise becoming the icon of a generation that it became in the future.
