Summary

The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero is the fourth installment in the main Trails series, serving as a direct sequel to the events of the Liberl arc and the beginning to the Crossbell arc. The game follows Lloyd Bannings and his colleagues Elie MacDowell, Randy Orlando, and Tio Plato. The four form the Special Support Section, a newly formed department of the Crossbell police in a city-state located between two great powers fighting for control over it.

Takes a little bit to get going but finishes strong.

Very slow paced and lot of reading, but if you stick with it you won't regret it for sure. The story is quite decent, the combat system is just perfection, unlike anything else I played so far. +10h into the game I was about to give up though, but reviews were clear that it was a slow burner, so I went the extra mile and boy I don't regret the push. It's my entry point in the serie, and I'm already looking into buying the sequel and more....

Los juegos de la serie Trails son simplemente icónicos e inolvidables. Para mí logran empaquetar en un solo juego todo lo esencial que debe tener un RPG, con una historia súper emocionante y que te atrapa, mecánicas de juego que siempre tienen algo nuevo que mostrar y un sistema de combate que va evolucionando a lo largo del juego.

Por si sólo es una joya, pero para los fans de la serie o quienes han jugado y se enamoraron de la historia y los personajes de Trails in the Sky hay muchísimo más para ver, con más historia y lore para descubrir. Creo que Trails en este sentido es un logro de Falcom al que ninguna otra franquicia se acerca.
