Bear in mind I'm not that into beat em ups these days. Satisfying combat and a decent enough story.
Online is brutal and full of very skilled players.
Overall a fun game that recaptures some of the magic of the old games.

Was just looking for a random game to waste my time on, and SoulCalibur VI just fitted the vibe I was looking for, and after nearly 50 hours of playtime, it became my favorite fighting game.
The campaign is divided into two parts (Libra of Souls and Soul Chronicles). You get to create your own character to play the Libra of Souls. Soul Chronicles is the main story and it also has character stories.
and also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... the character customization in insane!
95% of the story is told in a graphic novel way (so lots and lots of reading), and there are a few cutscenes here and there so they feel special.
The story is not the best, but still better than most of the other fighting games.
Online mode is great but it takes like 5 minutes just to find an opponent.
SoulCalibur VI shines best with it's single player content, and it takes around 40+ hours to beat everything.
The fighting system is really impressive, specially the combos. It's so satisfying to press the right buttons at the right time and see the character hits the perfect combo.
Character design and level design are also impressive, and whoever decided to add Geralt and 2B as playable characters should definitely get a raise.
Easy 9/10.

this review stand from complete casual perspective because apparently fgc hate this game
my god, what a fun fighting game, every char feels unique and fun to play, im havin a blast playing this on couch with friends
char creation is neat and funny, story/campaign complete trash tho
this series will always have a special place for me, soul6 doesn't disappoint
