Summary

Sniper Elite 4 combines genre-defining ballistics, breathless emergent stealth, and gripping third person action across the largest and most diverse environments ever seen in a Sniper Elite game. Set in the aftermath of its award-winning predecessor, Sniper Elite 4 continues the series’ World War Two heritage by transporting players across the beautiful Italian peninsula, from sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns, to colossal Nazi mega structures, daunting forests and giddying mountain monasteries inspired by Monte Cassino. Covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburne must fight alongside the brave men and women of the Italian Resistance to help free their country from the yoke of Fascism, and defeat a terrifying new threat with the potential to halt the Allied fightback in Europe before it’s even begun. If his mission fails, there will be no Operation Overlord, no D-Day landings, and no Victory in Europe.

Your character moves like it’s got weights strapped to its boots, clunky, sluggish, every step a fight against the game itself. I hate it.But then I pull the trigger. The bullet flies, time slows, and I watch bones shatter, organs burst, a brutal symphony of destruction.

It’s a mess, but those x-ray kills? They hit like a shot of dopamine straight to the veins. Keeps me coming back, even when the movement makes me want to quit.

I kinda liked it, but would I recommend it? I don’t know. Depends on how much frustration you’re willing to swallow for those fleeting moments of satisfaction.

I think this game is a very simple and boring with repetitive missions without any boss fight or challenging actions. The enemies haven't any variety and you see them in all missions with same guns and same movemnts. Its music was nothing at all and looks very repitive. Game play was good and that was the only reason for me to play it to end. The story as always were the americans killing nazis, without any attractive part. graphics and visual effects was normal and you cant see any special thing. audio effect and narration was good and you will enjoy of carl voice.

Played on: Playstation 4 (Standard)
Version: Playstation 4
Edition: Digital

I LOVE the kill cams in this. It holds so much weight when you see how much you mess the enemies up. Unfortunately the game has poor direction & can get overwhelming very fast. I haven't played very long into it & hope to dive back into it soon. For now, I have put it down.

Final verdict: Wait for a sale

I will give my opinion once I complete the game.
So far, it has all the things I like about the series.

I beat Sniper Elite 4 on Cadet difficulty.
Solely to get a feel of the game.
The enemies are not the brightest on Cadet.
Though, any mistake I made like popping out of cover as a patrol is passing, my cover is gone.
I learned to time when to come out of cover for a melee take down.
Later, the sentries can hear those movements.

I ghosted through the game.
If I am detected, then I load a check point.
Something I did for all of the game.
I spent about four and a half hours on each mission.

Booby trapping is such a godsend.
Or, setting up the trip wire for either leaving my sniper area or chucking a rock to rouse a sentry's interest.

Oh, blow up as many things.
A well aimed shot can take a few guards out.
Or, use it to maneuver around without drawing suspicion.

In all, I enjoyed Sniper Elite 4.
I'm going to mark Cadet low because it is too easy.
Even for someone like me to play it.
General note: I don't play third person shooters much.
I prefer its far superior first person games.

Anyway, I'm now going to continue with the DLCs on Cadet.

I will try to play it on Normal in the near future.
