It is an enhanced port of Ninja Gaiden, originally released on Xbox in 2004, and is the second expansion to the game after Ninja Gaiden Black. In 2012, a port for the PlayStation Vita, titled Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus was released on the same day the console launched in Europe and North America.

I was recently replaying It and god, I was so wrong!

Learning the game's combat and platforming and mastering It is the most satisfying experience I've had with any game In this genre, and I think It's safe to say Ninja Gaiden is my favourite hack and slash game.

Also worth mentioning I found the story more interesting with Japanese dub.

I hate it...

Great OST and weapon variety

Terrible level design, terrible camera and janky movement, the bosses keep spamming the same move set

The combat of this game is way ahead of its time and even now if you could overlook the camera issues and some platforming parts you will have a really fun time
Unfortunately though the last couple of chapters were absolutely horrible
There were these flying fish enemies that could just grab you and delete your whole health bar
A couple of bosses that were practically just damage dealing machines
And then the final boss was really disappointing and wasn't much different from normal enemies
Poor fella couldn't even put up fight
And the story was really bad as well but at this point I think in these games a good story is optional
I hope the sequel does a better job

I'm familiar with the ninja gaiden series but this one didn't clicked for me somehow compared to the sequel, first of all terrible level design, forgettable characters except for hayabusa, great challenge and the enemy's hit like a truck if you don't engage with the combat system enough and stopped mashing cause the game is terrible when it comes to throwing some tips here and there, the combat is really deep but when you try to understand the depth of it the enemy's has a different call. I understand that it's not a game of style it's a game of fast actions and reactions and I respect that.

Great action game, can be quite difficult but button mashing will do.

Difficulty: Normal
One of the most cliche and medicore stories I've ever witnessed, gameplay is okay but the way movement is it makes fighting lowkey bad
