Summary

Experience the exhilarating full-adventure Naruto Shippuden and follow Naruto Uzumaki on all his fights. With more than 12 million Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja STORM games sold worldwide, this series established itself among the pinnacle of Anime & Manga adaptations on videogames! As every good story comes to an end Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is going to be the ultimate STORM game! For the first time ever, a Naruto/Naruto Shippuden game will take advantage of the graphics power of the new generation of consoles.

Storm 4 is a very special game. It is my second storm game that I played from Start to finish after Generations on the ps3. Storm 4 concludes the Shippuden Saga and if you buy the dlc it introduces you to the world of boruto. This is a really good game and actually has a lot of content to explore. An actual long story unlike storm connections.... but this isn't a storm connections review however I'm petty enough to drag it when it benefits me. You get to unlock costumes, they drop more ryo if you play online. which again storm connections doesn't. Although still a lot of story mode content is cut from the other storm games like Naruto vs Shukaku etc. The storymode is still well designed and fleshed out.

It also brought us Adventure mode where you get to run around and explore the hidden leaf village of Konoha. I really like that it hasn't been done in a while since Storm 1 if memory serves right. I like it also in the DLCs where you get to walk around as Gaara and Shikamaru and interact with the villagers and go to missions. It feels more like Naruto games should be like Ultimate Ninja 5.

Although this game doesn't feel complete without the DLC it still provides you a lot of characters for a roster. 100+ characters isn't a bad deal, however here is where my problem is just like Storm connections. A lot of characters that should have been in this game day 1 aren't, even in Storm connections haven't been added yet. And that's not really fair when even the older ps2 games had them like Anko and shizune! What I wished for this game to had changed were the ultimates. Again still the same problem in connections. Ninja Storm 1 came out in 2008. A lot of the characters still have the same Ultimate jutsus....as they had since 2008 on this game...and storm connections. And I personally do not like that. Because the ultimates in storm 1 were longer than they are here... a game that came out 8 years later
....or not to mention connections that came out 15 years later....tsunade has had the same Ultimate jutsu...for 15 years....that's wild to me. What's even more wild is that Ultimate Ninja 5 has better and longer ultimates than this game does. A game that came out a year earlier than Storm 1....

Overall as much as i wanna complain i cant deny. This game changed the anime fighting gaming franchise. Too many precious memories. Idk where this gaming franchise is gonna go next since connections as underwhelming as it was compared to this concludes the storm series. If they decide to make a new one eventually to start a new series. The characters that are missing deserve to be added and the previous characters should all be reworked from scratch, as this was the last great game this franchise gave us
