Summary

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is the seventh game in the Kingdom Hearts series. It was originally developed for the Nintendo 3DS hand-held system. It is a direct sequel to Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts coded, and the epilogue of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Utilizing the 3DS's high-spec graphics processing, the game's graphics are near on-par with those of the PS2 titles, and make use of the system's 3D technology to add immersion when falling from high places and flying far distances. The 3D effect is used more for "going into the screen" rather than things popping out.

Man this game started off real strong. The gameplay felt so fluid which is so impressive coming off of the 3ds's hardware. But man the systems in this game kind of blow. The switch mechanic stops the game from being anything above a 6 out of 10. Needing to do levels twice with both riku and sora isn't fun to begin with, but on top of that not being able to control who you play as is even less fun. You can get duper invested in one characters level but the game doesn't care. If the timer runs out your ass is switching to the other playable twerp. I know it ties into the story or what not. But just simply having two campaigns, hell just the choice to switch the characters at will with no timer. Would greatly improve this game. Also the pets were cute at first but leveling all of them up becones very tedious.

While a good game, there are problems, flowmotion is just too much, the way 3 handled it was so much better, and sora just kinda feels extremely dumb from this point in the series on, more of a kid, before he was a spunky teen and now he's a wide eyed hero, kinda sad, but overall good game
