Summary

Katana Zero is a fast paced neo-noir action platformer, focusing on tight, instant-death acrobatic combat, and a dark 80's neon aesthetic. Aided with your trusty katana, the time manipulation drug Chronos and the rest of your assassin's arsenal, fight your way through a fractured city, and take back what's rightfully yours.

one word, Masterpiece.
the game has a unique switching between action and adrenaline, with calm and silence.
at the start, it seems like a simple game with no story. you don't know why every battle will repeat before you go to the next room, or why you'll revive over and over again. it's just like... he plugs in his headphone and start his killing spree. a Samurai against an army. sounds fun, right?
compared to what the game has to offer, it's nothing. every day you just kill a bunch of people and then you'll come back to your apartment, sleep, go to psychiatrist and the next battle will start. it's just fight, then calm, and then fight again, untill the peace will completely leave him and when he searches into the rabbit hole, there's no turning back from fight after fight and death after death.
the story is just beautiful. I don't know what to say. why isn't this a 100+ episode anime series? it has the potential.
and then the music. it fits so well to the fights and the cyberpunk and post apocalyptic world. the characters are perfect and badass and the last boss. let's just say it's orgasmic.
