Summary
The Rising Tide is the second DLC for Final Fantasy XVI, which will bring new challenges, new locations and more, including the confrontation between Clive and the legendary Eikon, Leviathan.
An unmarked letter arrives at the hideaway containing a request most curious: the Dominant of Leviathan, long lost Eikon of Water, is in need of rescue. To heed this call, Clive and his companions must journey to Mysidia—a hidden land under a blue sky—where they will uncover the tragic history of a forgotten people.

A really great DLC and final send off to the game. The story of the Rising Tide is engaging and memorable, the characters are interesting, and the overall gameplay remains great with challenging combat. Side quests are still not FFXVI's forte, but overall a great time!

The Rising Tide is a fun and refreshing expansion that features a few hours of challenging combat encounters, a touching story, new abilities and accessories. It's a more substantial experience than Echoes of the Fallen.

Another great DLC expansion for Final Fantasy XVI. If you haven't played the DLCs yet and you want to, definitely check this out. Has that awesome soundtrack, epic cinematic boss battles, and fun overpowered gameplay.
The last fight was ridiculous however once you've done it it's worth it. Should have been able to skip the 'Tsunami' attack to retry the battle, considering you couldn't dodge it. Not sure who thought that was a good idea. I recommend.

Nota 9,5 / The Rising Tide es un DLC de una alta calidad altísima, incluso superando a su anterior DLC.
Una historia bien contada que llega muy bien dado a su duración algo más larga y que en mi opinión es una de las más bonitas del juego. Es necesario mencionar también que sufre de problemas de estructura en cuanto a las misiones principales y secundarias como ya lo hacía el juego base.
En cuanto a lo jugable añade unas cuantas novedades que sin duda son como una bocada de aire fresco para el juego.
Y que decir de su boss final, el cual me ha parecido el mejor del juego y también una de las mejores OST, que por supuesto tanto en este boss como en el resto del DLC sigue siendo estelar.
Un genial DLC que se siente como un broche de oro para poner final a esta fantasía.
