Despite the high rating, this game only served as a annoyance to me, but I can't deny that it was still a good game. Crane and the rest of the characters are likeable if they wanted them to, and hateable as well. I would reccomend, if u don't mind janky gameplay, and being annoyed for 9+ hours

I believe that a ton of people love this game but it probably isn't for me. I mean the movement is top notch like 12 out of 10. The freedom, the parkour - hella fun! And it was the best part od the game for me - getting to the quest mark.
- I dunno if that is amazing or terrible to be honest 🤣
And once I opened the perk to be able to jump over zombies? Oh my! I was able to just run around the map doing only that just because it was so much fun 🤣

The another thing that this game really does amazingly is the atmosphere. I seriously felt anxious the whole time. I played my fair share of zombie games and no other made me feel on edge the whole time. The night time? I still have goosebumps just thinking about it from the few times game forced that on me.

To the negatives:
Well the fighting was...I'll say it as I see it: boring. You're just smacking zombies over head (the weapons aren't even so fun to use). I honestly had bigger blast fighting Rais men.

Also what was the last boss fight? Quick time events? Really? (I hate quick time events in any game in any point to be honest - just let me enjoy my well deserved cutscene in peace 🥺)

Also the ending in general is so underwhelming simply as it ends so abruptly. I mean yeah you defeat the main baddy but...but...what about the other things? Like the disk?

The story was nothing groundbreaking either but! most of the characters were amazing. So I guess that evens it out 😅

Collectibles weren't so much fun to collect to be honest - the zombie statues didn't even reward you with anything so that was a big bummer. Also the fact you LOSE survivor XP when you die? Stupid, stupid, stupid...at the end I didn't even do side quest simply because I lost almost more XP trying to finish them than I got from completing them

Also as the last note: if you're like me and you hate heights...rather avoid this game - the heights were just as scary as the nights in this game 😭😭

The gameplay is top tier and the whole system of rewards are great. But the characters are really lacking on this one.

Most of them (including the main character) are idiotic or unreasonable. So yeah, that lowers it a bit

I think the gameplay was phenomenal for its time, the parkour was the best part of the game and how you're able to explore and create different weapons. However, the story line was pretty mid (not bad) but it has so many aspects yet to be improved. There were so many stories that were connected but failed in catch your attention, it was focus in just to win more weapons and money. I have to play now the second part because right now left so much to wish for a zombie apocalypse. A little generic but decent.

I just cannot get into this one. I have tried twice now & it's just not for me. I love the concept but it is just so damn corny & the writing does nothing for me either.

Final verdict: Don't touch
