Well I thought it was gonna be good. Unfortunately it suffers from the syndrome many old games suffer from. Which is basically not aging well at all. The game itself is very fast paced. No literally you move so fast at times I thought I was gonna catch some kinda motion sickness. This basically felt very....Quake...well this came out before Quake I think. The enemies are pretty much endless, since it is just your average shoot em up kinda game.
The resource drops are pretty frquent, the game can be challenging the more you advance through the games. You also get a wide range of weapons including a Chainsaw which I was surprised to see. The enemies feel the same however they do change overtime even become bigger and uglier. The graphics again haven't aged well. This was BIG back then however for most nostalgia feels like it grips them to not criticise this game.
What could have made this game even better would have been a storyline it doesn't have anyone, all you can do is basically complete the tasks given to you to every stage. All the stages feel pretty much lifeless even though there is so much going on. I'm open minded to the other Doom games that I own. I will play them eventually and hopefully like them more than I did with this. However I'm glad so many people have a love for it. Everyone is entitled to like whatever games they wanna like.
