Summary

Contra is the NES port of the homonymous 1987 arcade game. It is a run and gun action game developed and published by Konami. The NES port was originally released in North America, and it lacks the cutscenes and other details present in the Japanese version which was released a week later.

Such simple gameplay that's still amazing after all these years. Run, shoot, jump. I enjoy these games because for the memorization and how easy it is to beat once you learn it. The game seems insanely difficult at first and you really feel yourself improving over time and eventually make it all the way to the end on a single life
