Summary

A port of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow included in "Castlevania Advance Collection." Aria of Sorrow introduced a brand new attack system called "Tactical Souls," that lets Soma Cruz capture the souls of slain monsters to acquire their abilities (100+ abilities in total). Aria of Sorrow also has a ton of New Game+ content. New Quality-of-Life features for this port are included, such as Rewind, Quick Save, and Record/Replay. The new Encyclopedia feature offers helpful information that helps you keep track of items, equipment, enemies, and the Tactical Souls System. With the new Soul Gadget option, you can get on-screen pop-ups that display whether or not a soul has been obtained every time you defeat a monster. Soma Cruz, a young high school exchange student in Japan, is somehow involved in the eternal cycle of reincarnation of the Dark Lord himself. What role does Soma play in all of this? Will he be able to return to his own world?

Excellent game despite the RNG souls. Love the castle, weapons and almost everything about this game. Got every soul which was quite a grind and the only major down part to the game in my opinion. I still prefer sotn as I think the RPG elements and castle are a bit better.

O jogo é incrível, ele sendo o 3° jogo da triade do GBA faz com que ele extraia os pontos positivos dos 2 outros jogos, mas concerteza o maior ponto desse jogo é a variedade IMENSA de poderes e armas, e todos unicos e especiais. Um mapa consideravel, com uma boa variedade de inimigos, que a esse ponto é de praste da serie Castlevania.

Eu só não consegui me apegar a ele como eu me apeguei com o Harmony of Dissonance, o jogo é incrivel, porem, eu não consegui criar um laço com ele, e eu não sei explicar o por que.

Una experiencia más conocida ya que comencé en esta saga jugando fans of sorrow, viniendo de circle of the moon y Harmony of dissonance me encuentro con un juego más pulido en cuanto a mecánicas se refiere y movimientos del personaje. Que junta la satisfacción de explorar con la dificultad aunque no al nivel de CotM.

La mecánica de la recolección de almas me encanta, fue de los detalles favoritos que me hicieron disfrutar mucho Dawn of sorrow y me alegra encontrarlos de nuevo en esta primera entrega. La variedad de enemigos es buena y los jefes tienen su nivel de dificultad pero nada que se vuelva frustrante, incluso algunos se iban a la primera.

De la trilogía de la advance collection (no cuento el X) es mi favorito por la recolección de almas pero vaya que resulta un dilema elegir uno por encima de otros y mira que HoD al principio no me conquistaba pero poco a poco me ganó por su exploración tan satisfactoria.

En el apartado musical vuelve a sobresalir, algo que extrañé de HoD en donde sus canciones no me atraparon, pero en esta ocasión siento que fueron muy buenas, no al nivel de DoS pero si bastante buenas .
