Great game from childhood.

This is still the best racing game I've ever played lol.

Actually suprised by the amount of depth in this game. You can take a corner in several different ways varying in how much it decreases your speed and how sharp you turn. Add to that the boost aand the ability to execute a jump to access certain jumps and the moveset has plenty of variety.

The tracks themselves don't exactly lend themselves to this moveset as there isn't many shortcuts that require the jump to access. I played this on chmpion mode and found the challenge to be appropriate. You can risk going off the track to catch up to the ai and when you pull it off it does save alot of time and if you mess up it's not too punishing.

The different minigames are fine enough the most unique obviously being the tractor tipping part which makes the game become full on stealth missions but i wasn't itching to play them or anything.

Overall if you love the movie you'll get alot out of this especially if you're younger like i was when i first played it.

My Childhood.

It's easy as hell, so a little boring because of that, but it's just so cool to drive around radiator springs. Childhood nostalgia plays a big role in the 8, but who cares, it still holds up to that feeling for me.
