Blade Chimera

first thing first... this is not a literal metroidvinia game , more like a light-metroidvinia

I expected nothing from this to be honest but I was surprised with a very good light experience that I finished in one session

The story for me is a highlight , the characters were interesting enough , I wished for more interactions between characters but eh... It's ok

The soundtrack is good but there is that enoying thing is when you fast travel the OST starts to play from the start each time and your going to fast travel alot in this game so your going to hear the same part of the OST all the time Wich is boring at the end game

The pixel art is pretty good and the character designs is really cool ( specially the demons and more especially the demon girls 🫦)

The bosses were fun but not that challenging... Until you fight the true ending mother fucker 💀 the last boss is fucking hard and it was amazing

Now... I talked about the good stuff .. let's drop some notes to fix

°No ultra wide screen support
°60 FPS CAP ! It's fucking 2025 !
°The fucking droids...
°Sometimes the enemies take too much to die , like they are sponges or something
°No invincibility after getting hit , so your going to get ragdolled by the enemies especially the last mini boss

Stop making boring metroidvanias.

The game start in boring way, and the combat doesn’t feel smooth and responsive, it feels slow and clunky and not in a good way like blasphemous .

Not good for me

Ett bra spel men som känns ganska "mid" på alla punkter.

Plus:
Cool setting
Hyfsad story
Rätt bra musik
Häftiga bossar
Unikt upplägg med sidouppdrag

Minus:
Dålig progression (förmågor som t.ex dubbelhopp får man genom spelets färdighetsträd och känns aldrig helt nödvändiga)
Någon form av specialattack vore välkommet

Jogo muito bom, ele não te chama pra joga-lo, mas jogue, é um metroidvania com muita classe e bem feito, desafios e quebra cabeças. Tudo nele é bem feito e a trilha sonora merece destaque. Recomendo demais.

Sensacional. Metroidvania com uma movimentação sensacional. A habilidade de teletransporte pra qualquer lugar do mapa, desbloqueada logo no início da uma nova dinâmica incrível para o jogo.
