Summary

An updated port of Virtua Fighter 3, released in Japanese arcades in September 1997 and the Sega Dreamcast in November 1998. It adds a new "team battle" game mode, which allows players to choose three characters instead of one.

This TB version lets you pick multiple characters on a team, though not tagging out, but getting to play more characters with and against your opponents. It's interesting, but it doesn't change or improve on the base game much.
