Summary

Tokyo Mirage Sessions might have a.. Kind of a weird premise and I had my conserns before starting the game.. BUT the game is actually alot of fun with motivated characters, nice gameplay and overall just a good experience. I wouldn't say it's for everybody but u could basically say that about any game ever and especially JRPGs. But for me this was great and made me maybe open my eyes alittle.

A slightly above average JRPG that is saved by a very fun combat system. Important to keep in mind is that this plays more than SMT than a Persona game. Meaning there is no time management, although there is a substitute for the friendship system. Characters never outgrow the stereotypes they're based on and the story is as basic as a JRPG story gets. Might be more enjoyable if you're a fan of Japanese idol culture which I am not. It was a little disappointing how little this game combined gameplay from Fire Emblem with SMT, apart from character names there's not much to remind you that this is supposed to be a crossover game. It could've been so much more...
That being said, the dungeon crawling, combat and character growth was very fun. If this is enough to carry a ~80 hour game depends on how much you enjoy those kind of systems.

Adelantado a su época. Este juego si se desarrollase ahora y saliera en 2025, después del boom de tanto Fire Emblem como Persona, sería de los mejores JRPGs de la historia
